Role Overview
We are looking for an Event Solutions Manager to join our team, working alongside those who drive our sales efforts and customer interactions.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent sales and customer service skills and a passion for events who is driven by hitting KPI's and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Solutions
Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions. Leverage upsell and cross-sell opportunities to create more value for our customers (warm leads only - no cold calling or door knocking!).
- Product Expertise
Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of our sound and lighting equipment, ensuring you can provide knowledgeable advice to customers.
- Bookings Management
Oversee the entire bookings process, from initial inquiry to product support to final return. Ensure a smooth, efficient and enjoyable experience for our customers.
- Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional service through phone, email, SMS and live chat (coming soon). Build strong relationships and uphold our high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Feedback:
Actively seek customer feedback to help us continually improve our services.
- Market Awareness:
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to continually improve our services.
- Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members across our Port Melbourne and Sydney locations to hit sales targets, achieve KPI's and ensure operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Customer Service & Sales Experience:
Proven experience in a customer service or sales role. Experience in the events or audiovisual industry is a bonus.
- Excellent Communication Skills:
Effective communications with customers, colleagues and management is critical to success in this role.
- Time Management:
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
- Attention to Detail:
Even the smallest details can make a big difference to our operational success.
- Product Knowledge:
Understanding of audiovisual and lighting equipment.
- Flexibility & Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high tolerance to change (we’re always growing and evolving).
- Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate leadership potential.
