Big (Music) Industri Open Day — Recap & What’s Next

A packed afternoon at Northcote Theatre gave future students a real taste of how Industri Education turns a love of live entertainment into a career. No classrooms here. Just a working venue, with real crews and real workflows.

Potential students were treated to: 

  • Live sets from two incredible bands, Empress & CLAMM
  • Industry panels with festival bookers, venue managers, musicians.
  • Venue tours looking behind the Northcote Theatre
  • An independent record fair, featuring some of Melbourne's best local labels
  • Plus a live sound demonstration of how a sound check works, including gain, staging, EQ and signal flow.
  • And a live lighting demonstration featuring patching, busking, cue stacks, safety and comms.
