Adrian, a seasoned Lecturer at Industri Education, brings a wealth of real-world experience from the heart of the music industry. Currently leading Touring and Venue Programming at Calibre Music Management, Adrian has an illustrious background including roles such as co-founder and Producer of the Sydney Guitar Festival and venue programmer at Century Venues in Sydney. His musical talents extend to playing guitar and writing songs for ARIA award-winning artist Fanny Lumsden, E for Echo, and Endusk, not to mention his nights spent spinning tracks as a DJ.

In his teaching, Adrian bridges the gap between rigorous academic research and the practical realities of the live and recorded music industries. His students gain a deep understanding of the music business, learning insights in one trimester that took him over 20 years to accumulate. This foundational knowledge not only enriches their academic experience but also opens up new, unforeseen career paths.

Outside the classroom, Adrian's world revolves around his family—his wife Jaye, son Asher, and dog Lula. He enjoys seeing live music, playing it occasionally, surfing, travelling, and speaking what he jovially refers to as 'bad Spanish'. His multifaceted life enriches his approach to teaching, offering students a holistic view of the music industry's possibilities.
